Heart of Gold Award The HEART OF GOLD symbolizes love, respect, truth, culture and art in the support of the medical profession within the Smith County Medical Society Alliance and the community. This award is presented annually to recognize and honor an outstanding member of the alliance. Qualifications to consider when choosing the person to be honored include the following: service to the Alliance as well as the family and community, good citzenship and personal integrity.
