January Board Meeting - The minutes were read and approved. 

1.  The budget was amended to increase Quality of Life from $150 to $300.
2.  Bylaws Committee presented additions to Standing Committees to include Audit Committee and Long Range Planning including guidelines of each. 
3.  LRP presented recommendations to the board.
4.  Committee reports were given.

November Board Meeting - Minutes were read and approved.  No other actions were taken.

October Board  Meeting - Minutes were read and approved.   Long Range Planning Committee Chair Donna Freeman presented LRP recommendations.

September Board meeting - 1. Minutes were read and approved.  2. The Accounting budgets for the General Fund and Book Fair Accounts were increased due to the increase in preparing the 990 Forms. 3. Cook Book Funds were approved for a 6 month CD.  At maturity Project Review will discuss use of the funds as recommended by the Long Range Planning Committee.
 
August 26 Board Meeting & September 2 General Meeting.  May minutes were read and approved.

News from the April 8, 2009 General Meeting

  Several important issues were voted on by the General Members:

  1. By Laws changes were adopted unanimously.

  2. Local Dues increase of $10.00 was adopted,  beginning in the 2009-2010 year. Active members of SCMSA and TMAA shall pay $65.00. Active members of SCMSA, TMAA and AMA shall pay $105.00.

  3. Members voted to allow unsold Alliance Cookbooks to be given  as gifts, as the Board deems appropriate.

  4. All Projects in Project Review for next year were approved for funding.
